Burj Khlifa Case

BURJ KHALIFA

Burj Khalifa

Burj Khalifa is the tallest man-made structure ever built, at 2,716.5 ft. This steel, glass and reinforced concrete tower was constructed between 2004 and 2010, led by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill architects.

Burj Khalifa was commissioned to help Dubai diversify from an oil-based economy to one that is service and tourism focused.

BLE Smoke & Fire FC180™ protective curtains were designed to be discrete and provide protection to the buildings within the requirements of international standards.

US EMBASSY LONDON

US Embassy London

Located in Nine Elms, South West London, the new US Embassy is quickly becoming one of the most talked about developments in recent memory. Developed specifically to provide a much higher level of security than ever before, including bollards, ditches and a reflective pool that doubles as a moat.

BLE Smoke & Fire were tasked to supply and install a number of FC60™ Fire Curtains for the elevators on each floor of the Embassy. The project presented several new challenges for BLE’s team of installation experts, from the high levels of security onsite, to having to co-ordinate with the building’s unique architectural design.
